Primorías Prellezo is a group of 2 large rural houses, El Castañeru and El Castañín. This group is located in Prellezo, a village with a beach, 3km from San Vicente de la Barquera.
Each rural house has capacity for 12 people and can be rented separately or together, becoming a rural house for large groups, with capacity to comfortably accommodate up to 24 people.
El Castañeru is a large, spacious and comfortable rural house for large groups. It has 6 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms. It is spread over 3 floors as follows:
- Ground floor: kitchen, toilet and a spacious living-dining room with a wood-burning fireplace.
- 1st floor: a bedroom with a large bed and bathroom (shower) and balcony, and two double bedrooms with bathroom (shower).
- 2nd floor: a bedroom with a large bed and bathroom (shower), two double bedrooms and a shared bathroom (shower).
It is a large, independent and fully equipped rural house. With enough kitchenware for large groups, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, blender, toaster, hairdryer, iron, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, TV…. Bed linen and towels (bath and hand towels).
It has a small covered porch and a spacious terrace with outdoor furniture and beautiful views of the Cantabrian Sea.
What makes these rural houses extra special is their location. In a village with a beach overlooking the Picos de Europa, very close to San Vicente de la Barquera and just 2km from the A8 motorway. The ideal place to go for walks without needing a car, walk to the beach, or, if you prefer, an ideal starting point for excursions around Cantabria and Asturias: Comillas, Santillana del Mar, Cuevas del Pindal, Altamira and El Soplao, Colombres, Llanes, Potes and Picos de Europa, Lagos de Covadonga, etc.

How to get here
Our house is located in the village of Prellezo, a coastal village with a beach, 3km from San Vicente de la Barquera, Cantabria.
- Whether you’re coming from Santander (passing San Vicente de la Barquera) or from Oviedo (passing Llanes), you need to take exit nº269 Pesués-Los Tánagos.
- You’ll find a roundabout; take the first exit, the N-634, towards Los Tánagos-San Vicente de la Barquera.
- After 1km along the main road, move to the right-hand side so you can turn left towards Prellezo (it’s signposted).
- This road takes you into the village; pass the church and shortly after there’s a small roundabout. Take the exit on the left.
- Follow the road uphill between the houses (passing the inn’s car park) without turning off, until you reach the bowling green.
- The houses are right opposite the bowling green, on the right as you arrive. Houses nº81 and nº82.
